An Essential Guide for Protecting Your Rights
Sandra has practiced law in Kentucky throughout her career and has been selected for membership in The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 Trial Lawyers as one of the top 100 civil trial lawyers in Kentucky and has been selected as one of the Top 100 Litigation Lawyers in Kentucky by the American Society of Legal Advocates, a selective membership which comprises less than 1.5% of all licensed lawyers nationwide. She has also been listed in Who’s Who in American Law. She has extensive experience representing injured persons and their families and is dedicated to helping clients right the wrongs they have suffered by providing a guiding hand and sound legal advice during the difficult times that can follow a serious injury.
Sandra has been admitted to practice law in all state courts in Kentucky. She has also been admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, all federal courts in the Eastern District of Kentucky and the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
In addition to her substantial experience in the law gained through many years in private practice, she presided as a state hearing officer and taught in the legal and mathematics fields. She taught legal writing at the University of Kentucky College of Law and taught Business Law at the University of Kentucky. In addition, legal research papers authored by her have been published multiple times in the Kentucky Law Journal and she has testified before the Kentucky legislature concerning proposed changes in state law. She also served several terms as Fayette County Judge/Executive.
As an active community leader, Sandra has served on the boards of the Professional Women’s Forum, Commerce Lexington’s Council of Smaller Enterprises, Lexington Network, and Lexington Forum.
