Jeremy is an experienced civil litigator, focusing on personal injury cases involving car wrecks, trucking collisions, slip-and-falls, fatal accidents and wrongful death. He has extensive court experience throughout the Commonwealth.

He graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a 4.0 GPA. After finishing his undergraduate degree, he attended law school at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During his time in law school, Jeremy participated in a variety of internships and externships, as well as a Summer Associate position.

Prior to graduating from law school, Jeremy worked as a law extern for the Fourth District Court of Appeals in West Palm Beach, Florida, as a summer associate at Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP, in Tampa, Florida, and as a law intern for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, in Tampa, Florida.

After graduating from law school, Jeremy has worked at national and regional defense firms prior to joining Varellas & Varellas. He began practicing in Denver, Colorado at the law firm Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP, where he learned the defensive side of civil litigation. Thereafter, Jeremy returned back to Kentucky and began his practice in Kentucky with a regional general civil litigation defense firm prior to joining Varellas & Varellas.

Jeremy is an eighth-generation Kentuckian and a first-generation attorney. When he is not practicing law, Jeremy likes to fish in Laurel Lake and hike throughout Eastern Kentucky.
